Access to the creek and waterfalls involves a slightly steep path and may not be suitable for guests with mobility concerns or for children. Use caution as the rocks and terrain can be slippery, especially near the water. The home itself is located on a set of terraced hills which also may not be suitable for children or those with mobility concerns. You can still enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek from the home including from the decks and sunroom without having to venture out in to the yard. Pet Friendly - we welcome your furry family! Please be sure to add your pet to the guest count when booking so the applicable pet fee is included in your reservation. Low profile vehicles are not recommended as the driveway is gravel and can get bumpy at times. What We Provide & What to Bring: We’ve stocked the home with essentials to make your stay comfortable from the moment you arrive, including linens, towels, paper products, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You’ll also find starter coffee supplies (K-cups, creamer, and sugar) along with a selection of basic pantry staples. For longer stays, you may want to bring additional supplies to suit your needs, but what’s provided will comfortably get you started and often lasts through a long weekend or more.

Your safety and enjoyment are our top priorities. Please observe the following rules: - Hot tub use is at your own risk. Guests must follow all posted safety guidelines. - Children must be supervised at all times in and around the hot tub. - No glass containers are permitted in the hot tub area. - Do not use the hot tub while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. - No smoking or vaping inside the cabin. Additional cleaning fee of $500 will be applied for failure to comply. - No unregistered guests or visitors allowed. The maximum property capacity is 4 people. - No candles or indoor flames of any kind are allowed. - Home is on well water and a septic system. Please be mindful of water usage and do not flush anything down the toilet except toilet paper (no sanitary products, no hair, no chemicals, no food waste, no coffee grinds).**Failing to abide by these rules may lead to costly repairs (guest will be responsible if rules aren't followed). - Clean up after pets. - Report any damages and/or breakages in a reasonably timely manner. Damages not considered normal wear and tear must be paid by guests and will be reported to Airbnb. Fire Restrictions & Burn Ban Policy** For safety and legal compliance, guests are responsible for checking current local fire restrictions, including any burn bans, before using fire pits, grills, or any open flames during their stay. If a burn ban or fire restriction is in effect, all outdoor fires and use of fire-related amenities are strictly prohibited. Neighborhood

The cabin is located in a quiet rural setting. There are wooded grounds on the opposite side of the creek so there are no other homes in sight off the back of the house and the decks are very private. Sometimes you'll have noise from farm tractors driving by or hear farm animals or equipment in the distance.

Guest Access

The home includes an additional upstairs level as well as a detached garage that are not part of the rental and will remain locked during your stay. Everything showing in the listing is available for your use and there is a lot of space to spread out. The areas not available are clearly locked and also labeled as no access so there is no confusion of what areas are off-limits. You'll have private access to the rest of the home and outdoor spaces - the off-limits areas are not accessed during your stay. Please respect our home and do not attempt to access these private spaces.

Find us

There is flat parking in the driveway for up to about 4 vehicles just outside the front door of the cabin. You'll see the detached garage as you pull up (as a reminder - it is private and not availble/accessed). The neighborhood is very rural. It's about 20 minutes to the nearest grocery store and other restaurants. I recommend grabbing supplies on your way in or heading to downtown Hillsville to enjoy local restaurants and grab supplies.
